And the Winners are…

As I have said before, we were presenting a play about The Iliad, and we were supposed to show it to younger kids, I think they were K5’s. The teacher and her students came over to our class and sat the children down. We were all nervous, (because of preschoolers!) We were all dressed in our to long togas and getting ready to present. There were three groups, and my groups was the last one to present, the third. The teacher and children were supposed to vote for the best group and presentation. So there we were, with the same presentation as last time. When it was Pam’s turn to send the dream to me as I slept, unlike last time, the effectw asn’t exactly the same. Instead of laughters, it was more like the sound cricricri that those insects, of which I forgot the name, do at night. Anyway, the kids were to young to say anything and vote, they were more into the, “I like it!” “Me too!” “Me too!” “Yeah, me too!” thing. It wasn’t cery helpful so the teacher stayed after the play to say which groups she thought had presented best and had the most creativity. After a long speech about how every groups was wonderful, and it was hard to choose, she said:

“And the winners are…” (suspence and drums) “… the third group!” That is when my group and I cheer like crazy and thank the world, and our families and all the support from all the poeple who were ther at this dificult moment…(all as a joke). We were so proud of ourselves!
