WTF?

Yeah, the title is the perfect description of how I felt when I recieved an unexpected phone call yesterday morning.

I had happily woken up, ready for another long but hopefully fun day when the phone rang. I didn’t pay attention to it, I just waited for my sisters or mom to answer it. Some how, by some magical miracle, the person on the phone wanted to speak to me. My little sister had answered the phone and was climbing up the stairs to pass it to me. I kept asking her to ask who it was while my older sister told her to ask, “Is who” (with a terrible French accent). She managed to ask, “Who is” (with a terrible French accent too.) I garbbed the phone from her expecting to hear Lyra’s voice on the phone.

I was surprised when the voice talking to me wasn’t Lyra. the voice asked me to guess who it was and I couldn’t find an answer. But then the voice laughed and I was like “Oh my God, oh my God!” It was Bhavya’s vocie on the phone, she was calling me all the way from Singapor when the last time she had called me or I had was probably more than two years ago. I can imagine my face at that time; it must have been something similar to this: , yeah, just like that. I still am surprised. Of course, she laughed at me when she heard me say, “what? Is this a joke?”, and of course it wasn’t.

I have to say, Bhavya, that you have a gift for surprises, oh yes you have. You are a complete freak in that!
