Retreat
Well a day missing school is always somehow good right? The only thing is that a retreat, is just something I think is useless and a waist of time, (even though I’m sire many poeple disagree with that).
The whole day we spent in Sousas, and the whole day we had to do activities. Some parts were fun but most of them, just stupid. Two game we played were interesting. One of them was that we were to step on a blue “magic carpet” and fake it was upside down. In order to get to the place you wanted you had to put it back on the right side. No one could step on the grass, and we had to find a way to turn it over. That was really fun even though a few people almost got strangled or killed.
The second game was even funner, I won’t explain it because it’s to complicated, but it was just completly hilarious. The other things we did though, were not so fun. The point was; you are in 9th grade now, discuss what you are afradi off, what are your goals, what you will leave behind, what you will take with you, what knew things you will do etc… That was just a loss of time, for we had already done that all our life, especially in 8th grade.
It was fun somehow, but I maybe would have prefered to come back to school earlier, so that I didn’t miss my extra curiculum activities.
My overall view of this day is the following:
*We should have spent less time there
*Teachers should not treat us like babies, by saying or making us do baby stuff
*We should be able to choose our groups, because a few people took too much adventage of being in your group. (I’m not sitting names, but I know alot of people who did that).
*It was still somewhat fun
*It was a good time to spend with your friends
